    40th Anniversary Edition von ELVIS’ letzter großen zusammenhängenden Studio Session im RCA Studio C in Hollywood, Mai bis Juni 1975. Erstmals mit einem alternativen Album Mix ohne die damals kontrovers diskutierten Overdubs. Bonus CD mit Live performacnes seiner Südstaaten Tour aus diesem Zeitraum. Bisher nur erhältlich auf der limitierten 8-LP Box ‚Elvis Aron Presley‘ (Erst-VÖ 1980).


    Cover Versionen in seinem unvergleichlichen Country Style von Songs, die andere erfolgreich aufgenommen hatten: Tom Jones (“Green, Green Grass Of Home”), Don McLean (“And I Love You So”), The Pointer Sisters (“Fairytale”). Dazu das rock’n’roll angehauchte “T-R-O-U-B-L-E,” ein Top 40 Hit. Der finale Mix, die overdubbings, mit Musikern, die nicht aus seiner Live TCB Band waren, man war sich klar: das würden die letzten Sessions in einem traditionellen Aufnahmestudio sein.
